The Youtube video shows Caroline's quirkieness, similar to Lene Lovich, Nina hagen and St. Vincent. In other words, she's adorable and a great musician.

Damn, she’s back. In this terrible world where we’re safer than ever, Caroline is both a swan and our reward. The voice is more ethereal than ever. It makes me chill out.
Favorite track: Dang.

She's only gone and done it again; song absolutely slaps with its off kilter/heavy instrumental supporting Caroline's always syrupy smooth and addictive vocals. Highly recommended stuff

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
I just started listening to this album today and am IN LOVE! Every track is perfect.
I'm slightly sad I didn't start listening to boygenius until but happy to be a fan of their music <3 lissie_a

I remember seeing everyone freak out on twitter when this was announced. I had literally zero idea what Mitski's music even was like apart from bits of Nobody & Washing Machine Heart, so when it came out I had no idea what to expect.
I think that deciding to listen to this album was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Every single song is a standout track to me, which I don't say lightly. It also led me to listen to the rest of her discography, which I haven't regretted in the slightest. praisedrays
